Certified State Aid Amounts for Local School Districts

-As required by state statute on Oct. 15 of each year, the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction is providing the certified amount each school district will receive from the general state aid appropriation, which is $4.476 billion for the 2015-16 school year.The amount of general state aid available for school districts was unchanged from last year. Overall, 44 percent of the state's public school districts will receive more general state aid this school year than they did in 2014-15.
For our local school districts, Neillsville will receive $5,444,152, Granton will receive $1,647,174, Loyal will receive $3,781,302, $2,261,987 for Greenwood and $3,225,327 for Owen-Withee. For other area districts, Spencer will receive $5,986,991, Colby will receive $6,629,656, Abbotsford will receive $5,337,015, Thorp will receive $3,362,445, $7,008,208 for Stanley-Boyd, $10,411,229 for Black River Falls and $20,591,483 for Marshfield.
