MAPS Asking for Donations for Marshfield Area Pet Shelter

-Today, local non-profit organization MAPS launches an online fundraiser for renovating a new temporary home in the former airport terminal building on West 29th Street.MAPS is asking donors to raise $8000 to help equip the Marshfield Area Pet Shelter with items needed to make it a safe, comfortable place for Marshfield's lost and homeless animals. Over the past four years, MAPS has ensured that more than 630 unwanted animals were adopted through their foster care program or transported to other safe, humane shelters in Wisconsin for adoption. This new, temporary home will help them further expand their mission.
Launched in 2013, LoveAnimals.org helps nonprofits raise money for animal projects by hosting free crowdfunding campaigns. Unlike many other crowdfunding websites, LoveAnimals.org is a non-profit organization itself and takes no administrative fees. Social media is a key component of the campaign, and MAPS is asking supporters to share with friends and family. MAPS' crowdfunding campaign will run from now until November 30.
