Two People Charged With Human Trafficking Appear in Eau Claire County Court

Two people charged with human trafficking appeared in Eau Claire County Court on Tuesday.

Mark Scoville of Humbird and Catherine Ottinger are facing a total of 34 charges regarding human trafficking and sexual assault, some dealing with minors.

Ottinger was found earlier this month between Fairchild and Stanley and both she and Scoville were arrested.  During their preliminary hearings, probable cause was found so their court proceedings will continue.

Scoville had a $25,000 cash bond set against him and Ottinger had a $5,000 cash bond set against her.  Scoville will be back in court on April 27th and a future court date for Ottinger hasn’t been set yet.
