Taylor County Man Sentenced for Shooting Incident in August of 2014

-A Taylor County man involved in a shooting incident in Medford back in August of 2014 has been sentenced for the incident.Around 3pm on August 30th of 2014, a man called 911 stating that someone shot through the front door of his home. He was not injured in the incident. The incident occurred in a school zone, so a lock down was issued at the Medford High School.
It was discovered that 20-year-old Harrison Davis was the man behind the shooting. He was arrested about three hours later at the Taylor and Chippewa County line near County Highway M between Gilman and Cornell.
Davis entered a guilty plea to 1st degree recklessly endangering safety and bail jumping back in June of this year. Three other charges were dismissed including discharging a firearm in a school zone and discharging a firearm into a building. He was sentenced to 2.5 years in prison and 2.5 years of extended supervision.
