Fire Early Saturday Morning at Kerry, Inc. in Owen

-On Saturday, October 3rd at approximately 1:30 AM the Owen-Withee-Curtiss Fire Department was dispatched to Kerry, Inc. for a report of a fire in the facility.Fire crews responded to the scene and activated their Mutual Aid Box Alarm System Box Card to obtain additional resources to assist in the response. The Box Card was requested to the 5th Box Alarm Level. Thirteen Fire Departments from Clark, Chippewa and Taylor counties were on scene along with the Clark County Sheriff's Office and Clark County Emergency Management as part of this response.
The fire was contained to a dryer area in the facility. No damage estimate is available at this time and the cause of the fire remains under investigation. Clark County MABAS Division #152 went "live" on July 1st of this year and this is the third activation in Division #152 within the last ten days.
