The Clark County Board of Supervisors approved deeding a property and selling some county land at their meeting Thursday evening.The county owns some land by the Village of Dorchester and felt that it would be in the best interest of the county to deed that land to the Village of Dorchester and they agreed to take it. They also agreed to sell county owned private land to four adjacent private landowners. The land in question is not generally used by the public and selling it will allow the land owners access to Camp Road. The amount came to $4,000 per acre.
The county board also approved adopting the Clark County Multi-Hazards Mitigation Plan for 2015-2020. This plan includes a set of actions designed to reduce or eliminate long-term risk to people and property from hazards and their effects. By accepting this plan, it opens the county up to resources and federal grant dollars
