Wednesday, September 30th, 2015 -- 10:32 AM

-It's that time of the year again; get your flu shot and stay healthy.

The Clark County Health Department is offering flu clinics throughout the county providing flu vaccinations FREE OF CHARGE to all CHILDREN regardless of insurance status at special clinics. This means any individual 6 months through 18 years of age is eligible. You do NOT have to be a resident of Clark County. Children under the age of 18 need to have a consent form filled out and signed by a parent/guardian.

The department will be holding the clinics on Wednesday, November 11th at the Abbotsford Elementary School from 3:30-6pm; the Neillsville High School on Thursday, November 12th from 3:30-6pm; the Clark County Rehabilitation and Living Center in Owen on Monday, November 16th from 5-6:30pm; the Greenwood Middle/High School Library on Wednesday, November 18th from 3:30-6pm and the Loyal Elementary School on Thursday, November 19th from 3:30-6pm.

Adults (age 19 and older) may also receive their flu vaccine at these clinics. The Health Department will bill insurance carriers for adults and if you do not have insurance, you may pay by cash or check for the adult flu vaccine. The cost of the adult flu vaccine is $30.00.
