-The Neillsville Fire Department responded to a vehicle fire near HOG Corners on Saturday.According to Neillsville Fire Chief Matt Meyer, they received a report of a vehicle fire on Saturday around 2:20pm in the Township of Weston about 50 yards north of HOG Corners. When they arrived, they found that the Clark County Sheriff's Department had arrived beforehand and put out the flames with a fire extinguisher.
The department checked the vehicle for any fire extension and they disconnected the battery. It appeared the fire started due to a mechanical malfunction regarding the fuel pump near the fuel tank.
They were on scene about 20 minutes and there were no injuries to the driver or the firefighters.
