Public Opinion Portion of Owen City Council Meeting

-An Owen citizen thanked an Owen Police Officer during the Public Opinion portion of the City Council meeting last week.Jeanne Heyboer reported that on August 25th and September 3rd she suffered a mild stroke and, thanks to Officer John Stubbe who helped Jeanne and realized her symptoms were that of a stroke, with his quick response she's doing very well today. Jeanne presented Officer Stubbe with cookies and money clip and thanked him for his quick response and wanted the City Council to know how proud she was of the officer.
Another citizen reported his name was used in a newspaper report and he asked that he be asked first before using his name in any article. He also reported that he had an individual who was looking to purchase a building in the city, by the name of Louks, investigated by Owen Police Chief Andrew Schade. Schade called Minnetonka, MN and they had nothing good to say about James Louks.
