Neillsville Man Sentenced for 7th OWI

A Neillsville man arrested for his 7th OWI appeared in Clark County Court on Monday.

According to court records, the Clark County Sheriff’s Department was dispatched to a report of a vehicle all over the road on Highway 95 back in February of last year.

The officer came across a slow moving vehicle on the road and pulled over Mark Janicki. Janicki admitted to drinking and feeling impaired, but denied a blood test.

During his court appearance on Monday, Janicki was found guilty, due to a no contest plea, of 7th OWI.  Another charge was dismissed and read in and the prosecutor dismissed another charge.  He was sentenced to 3 years in prison and 2 years of extended supervision.
