Security Health Plan Appoints Assistant Director of Member Experience

-Security Health Plan has appointed Kenneth Baur as its assistant director of member experience, a new position that reflects greater emphasis on making sure members are satisfied with their health insurance experience.A Mosinee native and University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point graduate, Baur has worked at Security Health Plan since 1999, most recently serving as assistant director of service operations.
One of the tasks Baur will face in his new role is to make sure Security Health Plan nurtures best practices within the health care industry. That could also mean looking at how businesses outside the insurance industry meet their members' needs. For example, Baur has completed a health leadership program offered by the Disney Institute.
With increased competition, greater demand for price transparency and new products that require more regulatory oversight, health insurance is becoming more complex. At the same time, members expect their health insurance provider to cut through the complexity, so they can receive high quality health care services.
