Public Works Report at Neillsville City Council Meeting

-The Neillsville City Council heard the Public Works Report at their meeting on Tuesday.The usual amount of work has been done in the city including equipment maintenance, cleaning and mowing parks, watering flowers, street sweeping, hauling brush and compost, opening and cleaning storm drains and more.
Public Works Director Dave Flynn also mentioned that all their summer help has returned to school. They also helped the sewer plant in raising manholes on 21st Street. They've also started crack sealing some roads and trimmed low branches over the sidewalks.
Finally, he mentioned that the water department will be flushing hydrants for the next couple weeks and the airport project is moving slowly due to some drainage issues discovered under the runway.
