Medford Woman Sentenced

A Medford woman accused of buying supplies for a convicted meth dealer has been sentenced for the incident.Penny Krug of Medford, along with Justin Reese of Abbotsford and Heather Prust of Medford, was arrested back in April of last year and had 3 counts of purchase pseudoephedrine for another with intent/facilitate another person's manufacture of meth filed against her. The dealer, Dallas Smart, is serving a nine year prison sentence. He was found guilty of numerous charges that all had to deal with the selling and production of meth.
Krug pleaded no contest to, and was found guilty of, 1 count of purchase pseudoephedrine for another with intent/facilitate another person's manufacture of meth. A third count was amended to a charge of encouraging parole/probation violation which she also pleaded no contest to and was found guilty of. In the end, she was sentenced to 1 year probation.
The accomplice Prust was sentenced to 2 years' probation and 160 hours of community service and Justin Reese was sentenced to 6 months in prison.
