Farmers Received Less For Milk In July

Wisconsin farmers received an average price of $17.50 per hundredweight for their milk in July, according to the USDA's Agricultural Prices report.Wisconsinagconnection.com reports that this was 40 cents lower than the price received in June and is the lowest monthly price since June 2012.
Eighteen of the 23 major milk producing states had a decrease in price from June to July, while three had an increase, and two had no change in price.
