Neillsville City Council Hears Committee Reports, Historic Preservation

-The Neillsville City Council heard the Committee Reports at their meeting on Tuesday.During a Historic Preservation Commission Meeting held on Wednesday, August 19th, 40 historic photos were reviewed and narrowed down to 13 for the 2016 historic calendar. Each photo still needs a description and assignment to a specific month for the calendar, which will be done at the September meeting.
The commission approved ordering 300 calendars and 100 sets of notecards. The 2015 notecards have been received and are being sold in area businesses. The commission also discussed feedback being received regarding what's been happening with the historic preservation ordinance.
A form requesting a Certificate of Appropriateness was presented and the commission will review it and discuss it at the next meeting.
