Clark County Board of Supervisors Approves a Memorandum of Agreement with Wisconsin DNR

-The Clark County Board of Supervisors approved a Memorandum of Agreement with the Wisconsin DNR.The Memorandum states that the county will be participating in the Knowles-Nelson Stewardship Land Acquisition Grant Program. Put simply, this program would help pay for up to 50% of the purchase price of any land the county would like to buy. It was stated at the meeting on Thursday that the county had no immediate plans to purchase land, but they have been approached by someone to do so. If they decide to do it, this program would help with the cost.
The board also approved another resolution selling some county land. They agreed to sell 1.54 acres to a private owner in Hixon at a price of $5,000 per acre.
