Neillsville School Board Approves Several Items at Annual Meeting

-The Neillsville School Board held their Annual Meeting on Monday evening.The board approved the usual items that appear on the Annual Meeting's agenda including the sale of unused or outdated supplies and equipment, temporary borrowing for cash flow and the date for the next Annual Meeting, which will be August 29th of 2016.
The board members' salaries and reimbursement for per diem and expenses was also approved. The board president makes $2,500, the vice president makes $2,100, the clerk makes $2,300, the treasurer makes $2,100 and the member makes $2,100. They also approved the $100 per diem.
And again, the handful of people at the meeting approved the 2015-16 school year tax levy at $3,641,489, which was a .8% increase from last year.
