New Geocaching Sites in Neillsville

-If you're a geocacher, you have some new areas to find in the City of Neillsville.For those that don't know, geocaching is the outdoor sport or game of searching for hidden objects by using GPS coordinates posted on the Internet. Usually, it's a hidden object of some kind.
At a public brainstorming session headed up by the Neillsville Improvement Corporation, geocaching was brought up as a way to bring more people to the area. Several Neillsville residents took the project and ran with it and now Neillsville has a total of 10 geocaching site in and around the city. Details about each site can be found by going online to geocaching.com.
The idea behind the project is to make the community more involved with the local area and to make more everyday use out of the city's public spaces. The increased amount of Geocaches in town will also increase the amount of involvement of people who are temporarily staying in Neillsville and even those who are just passing by.
