-A Marshfield man who pleaded guilty to possession of child pornography was sentenced in Wood County Court on Thursday.Back in 2014, Joshua Reinwand had been charged with three counts of possessing child pornography and one count of resisting or obstructing an officer after the Marshfield Police Department discovered explicit photos and videos of children on his phone. Some of the children in the photos appeared to be as young as three-years-old. When investigators tried to execute a search warrant on Reinwand's home, they said he refused to answer the door and even held his body against it to try and keep them from entering.
In October, Reinwand was found guilty of, due to a no contest plea, one count of possession of child pornography. The remaining two and the resisting an officer charge were dismissed and read in. However, he skipped his sentencing hearing scheduled back in December of 2014 and a bench warrant was issued. He was caught recently and a jury trial was scheduled on Thursday of last week. Instead, he was sentenced on Thursday to 3 years in state prison, 5 years extended supervision, he must comply with sex offender registry rules, he can have no contact with anyone under 18, he is not allowed to use a computer or device with internet access and he owes the courts over $1,300.
