Wednesday, August 19th, 2015 -- 10:24 AM
-The Neillsville School Board approved some changes to the middle/high school student handbook at their meeting on Monday. The first bit of language changed was in regards to after school detention, just making sure students, and teachers monitoring it, know what's expected of them during that time. The second was in regards to open campus. Students in 10-12 grades that were in good academic standing at the end of the previous year will be able to have open campus after the 1st week of school. Freshmen students still have to earn their open campus which they can do after the 1st quarter.
The board also approved the milk bid from Dean Foods of Wisconsin and the prices for this year are down slightly compared to last year. They also approved the bread bid from Bimbo and their prices are the same as last year.
The board also approved the Wisconsin Morning Milk Program, the Federal Milk Program and the Food Service Contract which they have to do in order to receive that funding.
