Owen-Withee School Board Approves Substitute Teacher Pay

-The Owen-Withee School Board approved substitute teacher pay for the upcoming school year.The Board unanimously approved setting the pay for substitute teachers at $95 per day, plus lunch. They also unanimously approved using Froward Financial Bank of Withee as the District's depository for the 2015-16 fiscal year.
Also, the Board unanimously approved raising lunch prices by $.10 for each meal. Prices for 2015-16 will be $2 per day or $10 per week for Kindergarten, $2.20 per day or $11 per week for grades 1-6, $2.30 per day or $11.50 per week for grades 7-12 and $3.30 per day or $16.50 per week for adults.
The board also heard a report from board member Rick Eloranta about the CESA 10 Annual Meeting he attended on August 6th in Chippewa Falls. Besides the meeting, where four new members to the Board of Control were elected, Joe Sanfileppo, superintendent at Fall Creek, did a presentation on the use of social media to tell your district's story.
