Greenwood's New Festival Happening in a Few Weeks

-The City of Greenwood will be holding their new festival in just a few short weeks.Due to a crowded weekend in July, the city moved their Summer Fest event from the 2nd weekend of July to the weekend of Greenwood's Street Dance, which is the weekend after Labor Day in September. On Saturday, September 12th, Greenwood will be holding their new End of Summer Fest event.
There will be a multitude of activities happening on that Saturday including vendors, a run/walk, car show, queen coronation, a wine and cheese tasting at the museum, inflatable, the Jim Busta band and the band Kick Start, a parade, antique tractor pull, an entertainer and movie and an auction of some chainsaw carvings as well as concessions.
The event will only be on Saturday this year, but may expand into Sunday next year. Make sure you come out and enjoy Greenwood's End of Summer Fest on Saturday, September 12th.
