Owen-Withee School Board Approves Student Fees

-The Owen-Withee School Board approved the student fees at their meeting last week.Board policy 656 requires the Board to annually review and approve the fees charged to students. The fees include: $10 fee for jr/sr high students, $25 per sport athletic participation fee, with a maximum of $50 per student, and a $150 behind the wheel fee for driver's ed.
Also, to avoid having a special meeting in October to approve the budget and set the tax levy, the Board unanimously approved moving the regular October Board meeting back one week to October 19th.
The Board unanimously approved the purchase of fuel from Withee Oil. Their bid was $0.065 over what their cost is.
