Escaped Black River Falls Inmate Caught

-An inmate who escaped the Black River Falls Correctional Center earlier this month was captured in Barron County early Saturday morning.On August 2nd, the Jackson County Sheriff's Department received a call from the Black River Correctional Center that Kaeden Dumholt had escaped and a vehicle was reported stolen from the area he had last been seen. Dumholt is also linked to a stolen and crashed vehicle from Eau Claire and a home invasion and high speed chase in Sawyer County near Hayward.
He was spotted in Rice Lake in Barron County on Saturday morning. Sheriff's Deputies contacted a man that was walking around a house on 19 ? Street. The man said he had broken down and was looking for help. One of the deputies recognized the man as Dumholt and he was taken to the Barron County Jail where his fingerprint was scanned confirming his identity. He is currently being held in the Sawyer County Jail on two warrants.
