Owen-Withee School Board Reviews Next School Year's Budget

-The Owen-Withee School Board reviewed the next school year's budget at their recent meeting.The Board reviewed the 2015-16 annual budget. The District is anticipating $6,063,473 in Fund 10 revenue and expects $6,063,473 in Find 10 expenditures. Both of these numbers are down about $130,000 from the 2014-15 budget. Most of the dollar figures that go into creating the annual budget are estimates and will not become final until the middle of February.
Also, Elementary Principal Lance Batchelor and Middle/High School Dean of Students Julie VanArk presented their 2015-16 students handbooks to the board. The Jr/Sr High Handbooks included a couple of revisions to homework, lunch and the dress code, while the elementary handbook remains unchanged. The Board unanimously approved the handbooks for this school year.
