Friday, August 14th, 2015 -- 9:32 AM

-The Neillsville City Council heard the Officer's Report at their meeting on Tuesday.

In July, the department had 182 complaints, 87 service calls, 65 traffic citations, 91 traffic warnings, 4 traffic crash investigations, 10 ordinance citations, 24 adult arrests, 3 cases referred to the district attorney for charges, 5 juvenile cases and 5 parking citations.

Some other items of note include Chief Klueckmann updating the Disaster Response Plan and, with the exception of a few traffic related items, Heritage Days was peaceful. Also, after working with and testing the city sirens, they are both functioning properly. Various training and interviews were also attended by the Neillsville officers.

A local business was also warned about selling tobacco to minors and Chief Klueckmann investigated a complaint against a Neillsville officer and concluded that it was unfounded. No further action was taken.
