Local Recipient of Governor's Blue Ribbon Livestock Auction Scholarship

(Wisconsin Ag Connection) -The winners of the 2015 Governor's Blue Ribbon Livestock Auction Scholarships have been announced.Governor Scott Walker presented the scholarship recipients with a certificate of recognition during this week's Wisconsin State Fair in West Allis. Ashley Zimmerman of Spencer was one of the recipients of the $1,500 scholarship.
Given on an annual basis, the recipients are recognized for their leadership skills, academic achievements, accomplishments as Wisconsin State Fair Junior Livestock exhibitors and potential as future contributors to the livestock industry. The awards are used to assist them with their educational expenses.
