Neillsville Officer Involved in High Speed Chase

-A Neillsville Police Officer was involved in a high speed chase early Wednesday morning.According to a release from the Neillsville Police Chief, around 3am on Wednesday, the officer tried to stop a vehicle for a traffic violation. The chase began in the City of Neillsville and followed a series of roads to the west of Neillsville. The chase continued for over 11 miles and speeds of almost 90 miles an hour were reached.
The Clark County Sheriff's Department assisted, trying to use a tire deflation device, but the suspect maneuvered around them. Eventually, the suspect, 24-year-old Aron Fogleson of Black River Falls, stopped on his own after several law enforcement agencies became involved.
Fogelson was arrested without incident and has been charged with Fleeing/Eluding an Officer, OWI (2nd Offense), Operating with a Revoked Driver's License, Possession of Marijuana with Intent to Deliver, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Fogleson also had (3) active arrest warrants out of Jackson County.
