Monday, August 3rd, 2015 -- 11:44 AM
-The Friends of Sherwood Lake are asking for help in locating two suspects from a robbery that occurred at the Chili Street Dance Saturday evening. The funds being raised at the taco stand from the street dance were going to be donated to the Friends of Sherwood Lake for their dredging project. Two young men, appearing to be in their early 20's, came up to the stand and while one ordered food, the other snatched the cash box. Several workers chased after them, but they got away. The two men drove away in a dark, older looking police car.
The man who ordered was wearing a tie dyed t-shirt and the other a white t-shirt with black sleeves and black shorts. They were both around 5'6" and 5'7". If anyone has any information on the individuals or the robberies, please contact the Clark County Sheriff's Department.
Friends of Sherwood Lake would like to the thank the Chili Fire Department and all involved in organizing the taco stand and the generosity they have shown in helping them fund raise.
