Employment Matters at Loyal School Board Meeting

-The Loyal School Board discussed employment matters at their meeting on Wednesday.The board hired a new 2nd Grade teacher, K-12 Art teacher, 2 custodians and a Special Ed. Aide. They also approved a 1.62% increase in pay for support staff members.
The board capped the consumable product fee for students at $70/family, approved 1st Agency for the district's student insurance for 2015-16 and accepted a gift of a portable AED from Memorial Medical Center here in Neillsville.
Finally the board approved $7,000 toward the purchase of a new van for the school with the FFA Alumni contributing $15,000, they set up a meeting for Strategic Planning in August and they discussed the district's seclusion and/or restraint numbers for last year and there were four.
