(Marshfield News Herald) -A Marshfield doctor has been ordered to take ethics training after he was accused of misleading a Wisconsin agency that investigated a report he was caught shoplifting in New Jersey.Dr. Chady A. Leon, an oncologist and hematologist for the Marshfield Clinic, received an official reprimand from the Wisconsin Medical Examining Board on July 15. Leon must complete 15 hours of education on the topic of ethics, according to the board's order.
Leon's attorney, Martin Machtan, said the shoplifting case against Leon in New Jersey was dismissed and his record was expunged. Leon claimed that he simply forgot to pay for a pair of headphones that he was going to buy for his nephew. The store claims he tried to steal several items from them.
