Grandmother of Woman Involved in Muder-for-Hire Plot Pleads Not Guilty

-The grandmother of a Spencer woman arrested for allegedly trying to hire someone to kill two people made an appearance in Clark County Court for charges filed against her.According to the Clark County Sheriff's Department, Shari Klimmer and Porscha Rizzi tried to hire someone to kill the fathers of Rizzi's two children. Both women have plea hearings set this week and next.
One condition of Rizzi's bond was that she was not allowed to have any contact with the victims in this matter, the fathers of her children. However, she recently mailed a letter and some pictures to her grandmother, 77-year-old Sharon Klimmer, who then sent them to the children. Rizzi had new charges of Violate Order/Intimidate Witness-Force filed against her and Sharon Klimmer did as well.
For the court appearance on Monday, a preliminary hearing had been set. However, the charge against Klimmer had changed to a contempt of court charge. This essentially took them back to square one and the appearance was an initial appearance for the new charge. Klimmer stood mute, so a not guilty plea was entered by the court on her behalf. Klimmer's attorney has stated that he's looking to file a motion to dismiss this new charge like he had intended for the original charge.
