Officer's Report at Neillsville City Council Meeting

-The Neillsville City Council heard the Officer's Report at their meeting last week.The Neillsville Police Department had 155 complaints, 70 service calls, 77 traffic citations, 100 traffic warnings, 5 traffic crash investigations, 15 ordinance citations, 18 adult arrests, 3 cases referred to the District Attorney for charges, 1 juvenile case and 11 parking citations.
Neillsville Police Chief Scott Klueckmann also provided statistics for the first half of the year. The department had a total of 891 complaints, 401 service calls, 422 traffic citations, 593 traffic warnings, 36 traffic crash investigations, 73 ordinance citations, 93 adult arrests, 32 cases referred to the District Attorney's office, 52 juvenile cases and 215 parking citations.
Other activity for the department including training, safety courses, traffic assistance and Chief Klueckmann investigated a complaint against a Neillsville Officer and found there was no basis for it and the officer was cleared of any wrongdoing.
