Annual Meeting Agenda Set at Neillsville School Board Meeting
Tuesday, July 21st, 2015 -- 10:21 AM
-The Neillsville School Board had a relatively quiet evening on Monday. The board approved a Use of Space Agreement with Clark County Community Services and the Children's Hospital of Wisconsin. Both companies provide outside counseling services to students in the district. The school district provides the space and the two organizations provide everything else and many families have taken advantage of these services at the district already.
The board also approved the transportation prices for the upcoming school year. The costs are based on the last school year's numbers and the price of fuel. The numbers are down slightly for the upcoming school year thanks to the decrease in gas prices. The board also approved changes to the Staff Handbook. The biggest changes were to staff names and phone numbers and the district's attorneys said the handbook looks good and is well done.
Finally, the agenda for the district's Annual Meeting was approved. The Annual Meeting will be at the school on Monday, August 24th at 7pm. This is an opportunity for Neillsville residents to come in and hear about where the district's money goes and the effect it will have on property taxes.
