WASB Membership Discussed at Owen-Withee School Board Meeting

-The Owen-Withee School Board discussed their membership with the Wisconsin Association of School Boards.The board unanimously approved renewal of the district's membership in the WASB organization. Also, due for the arrival of a newborn in late December, Angela Greschner feels she will not be able to fulfill the role as district delegate to the WASB Annual Education Convention in January. The board unanimously approved Charlie Milliren as the delegate for the 2016 WASB convention.
With the signing of the state biennial budget bringing revenues into focus, the Board has decided to start the staff pay negotiations process. The teacher process will begin in early August. Support staff and administration will begin in the next few weeks.
They board also heard a report on final 2014-15 district budget. The district had $6,167,109.26 in Fund 10 revenue during the 2014-15 school year. They spent $6,167, 110.84. Not only did their budget balance when they set it last fall. Their actual revenue and expenditures balanced for the school year.
