Public Works Report at Neillsville City Council Meeting

-The Neillsville City Council heard the public works report during the public works portion of the meeting on Tuesday of last week.The usual amount of work was done in the city including equipment maintenance, weeding and mowing, park maintenance, watering flowers, street sweeping, street lighting, open/cleaning storm drains, hauling brush and compost and more.
The public works crew also removed the old shingles from the gazebo and put on new ones. It was commented on how nice it looks. The city is basically done painting lines, the Grand Avenue project is done and street patching is almost done for the year as well. The crew also helped with Heritage Days setup and take down.
Finally, it was mentioned that if you suffer storm damage, like many did in last week's storm, you can put it out by the curb for the crew to pick up and they will do it. Just make sure it's out on the curb within a week and they still will not pick up the items accumulated from the regular pruning or trimming of trees.
