Jackson County Home Considered a Total Loss After Fire

-A home in Jackson County is considered a total loss after a fire on early Friday morning.The Black River Falls Fire Department was dispatched to a fire around 12:15am on Friday at W7708 Highway 12 South in the Township of Manchester. When the department arrived the home was engulfed in flames. A damage estimate is not known.
The cause of the fire is under investigation. The Wisconsin State Fire Marshal's Office , Alcohol Tobacco and Firearms and the Jackson County Sheriff's Department are assisting the department with the fire scene investigation to determine a cause and origin for the fire.
No one was injured in the fire and crews were on scene around 3.5 hours. Mutual aid was received from the Merillan and Town of Lincoln Fire Department, the Jackson County Sheriff's Department, the Wisconsin State Patrol and Jackson Electric.
