Black River Falls Police Looking for Information After Hit and Run Incident

(AP) ?The Black River Falls Police Department is seeking the assistance of area citizens in helping to solve a hit and run accident that involved a pedestrian.On Sunday, July 12th, just before 3pm, the Black River Falls Police Department responded to a report of a pedestrian that was struck by a motor vehicle in a parking lot.
The 911 caller reported that a pedestrian had been struck in the parking lot of the Dollar General Store located at 205 E. Main Street. The driver of the vehicle after striking the pedestrian fled the scene. The victim in this incident is a 65 year old male subject that suffered a broken hip as a result of being struck. The victim remains hospitalized as a result.
Information regarding this incident is limited. Police know that the involved vehicle is likely a dark green in color, 4 door and possibly from the late 90's early 2000's. It may be a Mercury Sable/Ford Taurus style vehicle.
Police urge anyone that may have any information concerning this incident to contact the City Police Department. Police are looking for anyone that may have witnessed this incident or have any information concerning this hit and run injury incident.
