Sunday Night/Early Monday Morning Storms Leave Their Mark

-The storms that moved through the area Sunday night certainly left their mark.A family in Spencer was unharmed, but shaken when 5 tree branches broke through the roof of the home and into the bedroom of the 85-year-old couple sleeping there.
In Stanley, fences were knocked over at Chapman park and there was damage throughout the neighborhood including a tree that had snapped in half and fell onto a nearby home. There were also reports of multiple power outages throughout the area.
Other areas of the state were hit hard by the storms as well including Adams County, were multiple trees were knocked over by straight line winds. The city of Columbus also had multiple trees down and the storm even bent a flag pole in front of the Columbus High School.
