"Concerts in the Park" Continue In Greenwood

The city of Greenwood is again sponsoring free "Concerts in the Park" on the Wednesday evenings in July at 7:30 p.m. A pie and ice cream social will be held during the concerts. These are put on by local organizations.The concerts are held at the Grassland Bandstand in Greenwood's South City Park, East Schofield Ave. near the ball diamond. Concert-goers are asked to bring lawn chairs or blankets to sit on. In case of rain, the concert will be moved to the Greenwood High School cafetorium on West Central Street.
On Wednesday, July 15th the Richie Yurkovich Orchestra will be preforming. There are two other bands preforming the remaining Wednesdays of the month
