Transportation Aids Distributed

-Governor Scott Walker recently announced that payments totaling more than $132.7 million for General Transportation Aids, Connecting Highway Aids and Expressway Policing Aids have been delivered to local governments from the Wisconsin Department of Transportation.Payments to Wisconsin's 1,924 local units of government include: $129,505,221 in General Transportation Aids; $3,015,874 to municipalities entitled to receive Connecting Highway Aids; and $255,975 to Milwaukee County for Expressway Policing Aids.
Clark County will receive a General Transportation Aid payment of $314,330. The various villages, towns and cities in the county will receive anywhere from $3,800 in aid to over $36,000 in aid.
