Dirty Jokes and Magic Trick Show at the Eagles Club in Marshfield on Friday

Thursday, July 9th, 2015 -- 10:56 AM

-There's a lot happening this weekend not only in Central Wisconsin, but around the state.

However, if you have the chance you should check out the Dirty Jokes and Magic Trick Show being held at the Eagles Club in Marshfield on Friday.

The show starts just after 8pm with Comedian Jeremy "JerDog" Danley and Magician Nathan Allen. I had a chance to speak with Nathan on Wednesday afternoon. He said the name says it all. "You can expect a show with Dirty Jokes and Magic Tricks. It's about three hours." He went on to say, "The show is edgy with a lot of innuendo and adult comedy, but it's not too extreme. We don't take anything too far or do anything that's going to make you cringe." If you'd like to learn more you can visit their website dirtyjokesandmagictricks.com.

Nathan and JerDog first met around 10 years ago. "They put us together at some club or bar," Nathan said. They began their act together 3 years ago. Nathan started with magic when he was kid. "Unlike most kids who grow out of magic around puberty, I stuck with it," Nathan said. "My first paid job was when I was 12-year-old. I charged 10 bucks and they game me $15. I thought I was rich." Nathan and JerDog go all over the country. "Which is scary," said Nathan. "When I was kid with my first magic kit, I never thought I'd get this far."

When it comes to Nathan's magic show, what kind of tricks can you expect? "Well, I have a trick that involves razor blades and my tongue. New to this show, I'm also going to have the audience predict a Powerball drawing outcome, so people can come and see me fail at that. Also, I'm going to have two big guys in the audience tie me up and I'll try and break a Houdini record."
