City of Greenwood's New Event in September
Wednesday, July 8th, 2015 -- 10:10 AM
-As the second weekend of July approaches, it's a weekend filled with plenty of activities, including Neillsville's Heritage Days, Owen's Jr. Fair, and, this year, Al Muth Harley Davidson's 50th Anniversary Celebration among many others. However, one event you won't see on this weekend is Greenwood's Summer Fest. Greenwood has not abandoned its annual event. Instead, it has been moved to the 1st weekend after Labor Day, combined with the City's Street Dance and will now be known as End of Summer Fest.
There will be plenty of events happening all day on Saturday, September 12th from 10am-midnight. There will be a car show, polka band, the band Kickstart, free inflatables for the kids, arts and crafts vendors, the crowning of Miss Greenwood and Little Miss Greenwood, a parade, food and drink specials, a run/walk in the morning and more.
The event will be one day this year and may be expanded to two days in the future.
