Friends of Sherwood Lake Have Successful Fundraiser

-The Friends of Sherwood Lake had a successful fundraiser on Saturday, June 27th for the lake dredging project.They had over 350 people attend our event. Without community support, individuals and businesses, this would not have been possible! Their Friends of Sherwood Lake Fund balance is now over $44,700. There are still two months left to donate to the Friends of Sherwood Lake dredging fund to improve the fish habitat. By early September they'll be excepting bids on the dredging project that will take place this fall/winter with total funds collected at that point. The more raised, the more they can accomplish. The project is a definite go! Local contractors who are interested should contact Sean O'Donnell from Clark County Forestry & Parks now for more information.
FOSL will be having a huge rummage sale fundraiser at the Sherwood Town Hall on July 17th and 18th from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Stop down, get some great deals, pick up a "We Dig Sherwood Lake" t-shirt, and feel free to ask questions about the dredging project.
They are also participating in the Chili Street Dance, walking taco stand on August 1st, and will have a major event, steak feed with Chinese raffle, at Tommy's Hilltop on August 29th with drawings for the 10 gun raffle and sponsor raffle, hosted by the Wisconsin Wildlife Federation, West Central Division.
