Neillsville School Board Update

The Neillsville School Board some hand book updates and more at their meeting on Monday.The board approved the Support Staff Handbook updates as presented, approved the Supervisory and Confidential Staff Handbook updates as presented and approved the Certified Staff Handbook updates as presented.
They also approved the Support Staff Wage Schedule for 2015-16 as presented and the Supervisory and Confidential Support Staff wages for 2015-16 as presented. They also approved the initial adoption of policy GCE the initial adoption of policy GDE.
Finally, the board heard a report from District Administrator John Gaier. He reported on five thank you notes, a joint in-service, an article from the Wisconsin State Journal, an article from The Cap Times, a news release from the DPI and a letter from the Freedom From Religion Foundation. He also reported on proposed legislation restricting performance contracting, an email to Representative Bob Kulp, an article from The Communicator, an article from the Wisconsin State Journal, an article from the Leader-Telegram and two Focus articles
