Neillsville Man Accused of Sexual Assault and Incest Will Enter a Plea Later this Month

-A Neillsville man charged with sexual assault and incest will enter a plea to the charges in three weeks.According to the criminal complaints for two separate cases, the 66-year-old man is accused of inappropriately touching young members of his own family. One incident occurred back in 2007 while another occurred in 2013. The man claimed that what he did was not intended to be sexual and he was just hugging the victims.
The 66-year-old has two cases against him. In one, he's charged with two counts of 2nd degree sexual assault of a child and two counts of incest with child. In the other, he's charged with 4th degree sexual assault and incest with a child. During a status conference on Wednesday, a plea hearing was requested for July 22nd. If he's found guilty of all the charges, and sentenced to the maximum amount, he could spend over 240 years in prison and be fined $500,000 or both.
