Neillsville School Board Approves Items in Preparation for Next School Year

-The Neillsville School Board approved several items in preparation for the next school year at their meeting on Monday.The board approved some curriculum updates and they also approved the handbooks for the next school for the elementary, middle/high school and the athletic handbook with some changes noticed by the board members.
The board also approved the district's WASB membership. The estimated cost is $3,343, but that could change as the number is based off of the number of staff members a district has. Depending on the state budget, there's a chance that number could be lowered or frozen.
Finally, the board approved the AEF membership for $500. The AEF strives for equity in funding when it comes to public education.
