Committee Reports at Neillsville City Council Meeting

-The Neillsville City Council heard the committee reports at their meeting last week.Public Works Director Dave Flynn reported on the usual work being done in the city including equipment maintenance, street sweeping, cleaning storm drains and gutters, mowing grass, watering flowers, hauling brush and compost and more.
The council also heard the report from the Neillsville Community Fire Hall Board Meeting held June 18th. The fire department saw an $80 increase in their health insurance quote to $1,198. They have a new Smokey Bear sign coming and a new lawn care person. They also had an election of officers.
Finally, the council heard a report from the Heritage Days Committee meeting held on June 18th. They heard updates on Miss Neillsville, movie night, the golf outing, games and activities, signs and banners, giveaways and more.
