Neillsville School Board Approves Donations and Out-of-State Field Trips

-The Neillsville School Board approved a couple donations and out-of-state field trips at their meeting yesterday evening.The board approved a $100 donation from the school district to the PTC2 group. This is a parent and teacher group and they would like to use the money for refrigerator magnets that will have information on it that parents can use if they have questions or concerns.
The 2nd donation was in regards to the work done on the softball and baseball fields. The Neillsville Booster Club spearheaded several projects to make improvements to the baseball and softball fields. The board approved a $9,000 donation, which they had promised when this proposal first came to them, to complete the fencing on both softball fields and the difference will be paid by the club.
The board also approved two out-of-state field trips for the FFA. They'll be going to Louisville, Kentucky in October of 2015 and St. Paul, Minnesota in February of 2016.
