President Obama in La Crosse on Thursday, Speech Open to the Public

(Wisconsin State Journal) -Pres. Barack Obama talking about the nation's economy at UW-La Crosse on Thursday will be open to the public, with free tickets distributed in La Crosse Tuesday.The White House said by email Monday morning that tickets will be distributed to the public beginning at 6 p.m. Tuesday at the Cartwright Student Center, 1741 State St., on the UW-La Crosse campus.
One ticket per person will be issued on a first-come, first-served basis. Tickets will be needed to attend the president's talk, and tickets are not for sale.
The speech will begin approximately at 1:20 p.m. on Thursday in the Recreational Eagle Center, a multi-use recreation and physical fitness building on campus.
